Company History

The Great Cover-Up was established by Sylvia Middleton in 1996.  She is a San Antonio native and enjoyed a successful career in the construction industry.  Sylvia has always had a talent and a passion for interior design and a desire to own her own business.  These two dreams were brought to reality with The Great Cover-Up.  

Sylvia single-handedly built her business by developing long-term relationships with customers, relying on their personal referrals and word-of-mouth advertising to continually grow.  Sylvia has many repeat customers who have sought her expertise to decorate three or four different homes for them.  Today, The Great Cover-Up is a well-respected business with a long track record of hundreds of satisfied customers.  We are a family-owned and family-run business, committed to providing you with quality, value, and service second to none.

We do not have an expensive showroom.  Instead, we bring the showroom to you. Because our overhead is much lower than a showroom or store, we can pass these savings on to you.  Not only do you get great personal service, but you get it at a better price!
